Hubballi: In a tragic incident, a differently-abled beggar was killed by another differently-abled beggar within the Old Hubballi police station limits on Sunday night.
According to Police Commissioner N. Shashikumar, both the victim and the accused had been living in a shared room in Diddioni for the past four months, along with four other individuals. The incident occurred when the other housemates had left for their native places on personal work.
The victim, identified as Mithilesh Kumar from Bihar, was allegedly killed by Nazeer, also known as Rajesh Kumar, a native of Ambala, Haryana. The murder reportedly stemmed from a petty dispute.
The body has been sent for postmortem, and will be handed over to the victim’s relatives afterward, the Commissioner added.
