Bengaluru, May 25: Intensity of rainfall is expected to increase in Karnataka, and heavy showers are on the cards in some districts from May 25. There is a red alert for six districts, including Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uttara Kannada, Chikkamagaluru, Kodagu, and Shivamogga.
Orange alert has been issued for Belagavi and Dharwad, and a yellow alert for Mysuru, Mandya, Hassan, Chamarajanagar, Haveri, and Gadag. Light to moderate rain is forecast in Bengaluru Urban, Bengaluru Rural, Chikkaballapur, Kolar, Tumakuru, Vijayanagara, Yadgir, Raichur, Koppal, and Bidar. Rainfall activity is expected to increase substantially in the state from today.
