Bengaluru: India’s star batsman, Virat Kohli, touched down at Bengaluru International Airport this morning, well ahead of the arrival of his other teammates. Fans flocked to the airport, eager for a glimpse of their favorite cricketing icon.

Virat Kohli boasts a massive fan base in Bengaluru, often hailed as the “king” by the fans, he represent the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League. Team India is slated to play their final league match of the ICC Cricket World Cup against the Netherlands in Bengaluru this Sunday before advancing to the semi-finals.

India has clinched the top position in the prestigious tournament, amassing 16 points by winning all eight matches played thus far. Kohli arrived in Bengaluru separately, while the rest of the players are scheduled to arrive together later this evening.
