Delhi-NCR experienced dense fog, causing over 100 flight and 22 train delays due to poor visibility. The national capital recorded a minimum temperature of 3.5 degrees Celsius, significantly below the seasonal average.

Areas in Delhi reported ‘severe’ air quality, prompting a red alert. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) classified the fog intensity as very dense, with visibility dropping to zero in certain locations. The cold wave is expected to persist until Tuesday, with Saturday marking the coldest night of the season at 3 degrees Celsius.
