Youth Murdered for Trivial Reason in Dharwad

Dharwad: A man in his early 30s was murdered near the university back gate in the Vidyagiri police station limits. The deceased has been identified as Kallangouda Patil, a resident of Aravatigi.

The man was attacked by a group of people around 11:30 pm on Sunday, and he passed away on Sunday morning, according to the police.

The police stated that initially, it appears the group attacked Kallangouda and one more victim for not properly parking their vehicle, and a verbal altercation escalated to the extreme. However, they mentioned that the investigation is ongoing in all directions.
