Vidyanagar Police Arrest Bike Lifter, Recover Stolen Bikes

Hubballi: The Vidyanagar police have apprehended a bike lifter and recovered five stolen bikes. The arrest was made following a recent bike theft case reported from Vishal Mega Mart on Hubballi-Dharwad Road in Vidyanagar.

Acting on credible information, the police team led by Inspector Jayant Gouli arrested the accused. During interrogation, the accused confessed to stealing bikes in Kalaghatagi and Halyal as well.

In total, the police team secure five bikes with a combined value of Rs 2.60 Lakhs.

Keshwapur Police Nab Six Ganja Peddlers

The Keshwapur Police have arrested six ganja peddlers in three separate incidents. Police have also recovered 148 grams of ganja and two bikes from the accused.

Acting on credible information, the police team apprehended the accused who were attempting to sell the contraband in various localities of Keshwapur.
