Hubballi: In a move that has raised eyebrows, former Karnataka Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar, who recently returned to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), was conspicuously absent from the inauguration ceremony of Union Minister Pralhad Joshi’s election office on Saturday.

Shettar’s Absence Noted:

Shettar’s absence did not go unnoticed, and journalists present at the event inquired about it from Joshi. The Union Minister clarified that Shettar was informed about the programme three days prior but due to his prior commitments in Bengaluru, necessitating his absence from the program.

Joshi Downplays Absence:

Joshi emphasized that Shettar’s absence should not be misconstrued as any internal conflict within the BJP. He assured that there were no factions within the party and there are no differences between him and Shettar, he would be participating in future events.
