Messi Taunts Upset Ronaldo’s Debut Season with Al Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo’s debut season with Al Nassr hit a snag as they lost the Riyadh Season Cup final 2-0 to Al Hilal. Ronaldo was largely ineffective and frustrated by Messi chants from rival fans.

He responded with the comment “I am here now. Not Messi,” but further controversy arose when he made an indecent gesture towards fans throwing scarves at him. Though an injury prevented the much-anticipated Messi-Ronaldo clash, Al Nassr will now look to bounce back in the AFC Champions League Round of 16.
