Hubballi: Residents of North Karnataka districts are in for a scorching couple of days as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a heatwave warning for the region. Kittur Karnataka and Kalyana Karnataka districts are expected to experience extreme heat conditions.
The IMD has advised people to take precautions to stay safe during the heatwave. This includes staying hydrated by consuming plenty of water and cooling beverages, avoiding strenuous activity during peak sunlight hours (typically noon to 3 PM), wearing loose, light-colored clothing, and seeking shade whenever possible.
