Hubballi: To enhance comfort and convenience for passengers traveling between Hubballi and Hyderabad, the North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has introduced a new ‘Airavat’ Volvo AC semi-sleeper bus service on this busy route.
The new service was formally flagged off with a traditional puja ceremony at the Gokul Road bus stand in the presence of officials and public.
Speaking on the occasion, Divisional Controller H. Ramanagoudar said that the twin cities of Hubballi-Dharwad and surrounding districts witness frequent travel to Hyderabad for business and personal needs. To cater to this demand, the corporation had already been operating both AC and non-AC sleeper buses on this route. Now, responding to growing public demand, the premium ‘Airavat’ Volvo AC semi-sleeper bus has also been added to the fleet.
Bus Timings and Route
The newly launched bus departs from Hubballi’s Gokul Road Bus Stand at 9:00 PM, with subsequent stops at:
Hosur Bus Stand – 9:15 PM
Gadag – 10:15 PM
Koppal – 11:30 PM
Gangavati – 12:45 AM
Sindhanur – 2:00 AM
Raichur – 3:30 AM
It then proceeds via Shaktinagar and Mahabubnagar, reaching Hyderabad’s Mahatma Gandhi Bus Stand by 7:00 AM the next morning.
The return journey from Hyderabad begins at 10:00 PM, arriving in Hubballi at 8:00 AM the following day.
Fare and Booking Details
The one-way fare from Hubballi to Hyderabad, inclusive of accident insurance, toll fees, and GST, has been fixed at ₹1,567. Passengers can book tickets through the official website of ksrtc, the KSRTC Mobile App, or at major bus terminals.
Discounts are available for advance bookings:
A 5% discount is offered when booking four or more seats under a single ticket.
Passengers opting for round-trip bookings in a single ticket will receive a 10% discount on the return fare.
KSRTC officials present at the launch included Divisional Traffic Officer Sangappa Matoli, Depot Manager Vinod Ammanagi, and Bus Stand Supervisor V.S. Hanchate, among others.
