Israel PM Netanyahu, Russian President Putin Spoke Over Phone for 50 Minutes Amid Growing Tension
Tel Aviv, Dec 10: In response to escalating tensions over the Israel-Hamas conflict, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a fifty-minute phone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The call comes after Russia supported a UN resolution for a Gaza ceasefire, in contrast to the U.S.’s veto and the U.K.’s abstention during the recent UN Security Council meeting in New York.
