Hubballi: Union Minister Joshi Slams Govt’s Decision to Withdraw CBI Probe in DK Shivakumar Case

Hubballi: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Friday said that the state government’s decision to withdraw the CBI probe into the disproportionate assets case against DK Shivakumar is not legally or morally correct.

Speaking to reporters in Hubballi, Joshi said that the decision by the Siddaramaiah government at a time when the CBI was about to file a chargesheet in court is a very unfortunate incident. He said that there are several instances of courts in our country giving verdicts contrary to the decisions of the central government, which means that the country’s judicial system is independent and impartial.
