Hubballi: Man Stabbed Over Rs 500 Loan, Five Arrested

Hubballi witnessed yet another stabbing incident on Saturday night, where a man was brutally attacked over an unpaid loan of Rs 500. The victim, identified as Mohammed, a resident of Anand Nagar, was stabbed at least five times in different parts of his body.

According to the police, the incident occurred near Anand Nagar following a heated argument. Mohammed had lent Rs 500 to one of the five accused, and a confrontation arose when he questioned the accused about not repaying the amount.

Zameer Ahemad had borrowed money from Mohammed, a few days ago, but he was not able to repay the money to him. The alteraction broke when the victim insisted the accused to repay it. The other accused are Altaf, Jaffar, Rafiq and Rijju.

The Old Hubballi police acted swiftly and arrested all five accused involved in the attack. The victim has been admitted to KMC-RI for treatment, and an investigation is underway.
