Hubballi: Keshwapur Police Nab Two Chain Snatchers
Hubballi: The Keshwapur police have arrested two chain snatchers and recovered 32 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs 1.90 lakh from them, along with a KTM Bike used in executing the crime. The accused had snatched a gold ornament from a lady on Club Road in the city on February 2. The police promptly registered a case and initiated a search operation.
Having tracked the culprits to Mysuru and Davangere, the police team discovered their presence in Davangere. Acting swiftly, the team apprehended the suspects. The arrested individuals are identified as Akash Vagesh Mudholkar, 23, and Praveen Anandappa Hadagali, 27, both residents of Gouligalli, Ranebennur.
With the arrest of these individuals, the Keshwapur police have successfully resolved chain-snatching cases reported in Tumakuru, Ranebennur, Shivamogga, Udupi, and Manipal. Police Commissioner Renuka Sukumar has commended Inspector KS Hatti and his team for their diligent efforts in solving the case.
