Dharwad: Election Officers Seize Sarees Without Proper Documentation

Dharwad: Election officers and staff stationed at the Tegur check-post, established to prevent election-related irregularities, have confiscated 300 sarees being transported without proper documentation on Sunday.

According to Magistrate SST at the Tegur Check-post, they intercepted an Omni van at the check-post for inspection and discovered that Prashant Shivanand Hoskali, 42, a resident of Belagavi, was transporting 300 sarees without proper documentation in the Omni van. The staff and the police seized the sarees and the vehicle and reported the incident to the seizure committee for further action.
