Burglaries Hit Hubballi: Thieves Swipe Goods Worth Lakhs in Two Separate Incidents

Hubli Express News, Hubballi: Two separate incidents of theft were reported in the city. In the first instance, thieves broke into a kitchenware shop located near Moorusavirmath and made away with goods worth Rs 7 lakh. The Kamaripet police have registered a case.

In the second incident, which occurred in the Vidyanagar police station limits, thieves broke into the residence of Chandranath Basti in Vidyanagar’s Siddeshwar Park. They gained entry by breaking open the windows of the kitchen and stole valuables worth Rs 1.11 lakh along with Rs 38,000 in cash. The Vidyanagar police have registered a case, and an investigation is currently underway.
