Big News for Commuters: MP Drops Major Hint on Kalaburgi-Bengaluru Route

Kalaburgi: Responding to persistent demands from the residents of Kalaburgi and its surrounding areas, Member of Parliament Dr. Umesh Jadhav has made a significant announcement. The community had long advocated for a dedicated and exclusive train service connecting Kalaburgi and Bengaluru.

The pressure on elected representatives bore fruit when the Union Railway Minister recently declared the initiation of a new train service between Kalaburgi and Baiyappana Halli (Bengaluru), scheduled to be flagged off on March 9 (Saturday).

Adding to this development, Dr. Umesh Jadhav revealed that a Vande Bharat Express would commence operations between Kalaburgi and Bengaluru starting March 12.

Dr. Jadhav expressed his gratitude on social media, labeling it the most substantial gift from the Union Government to the people of Kalaburgi. He extended his thanks to Prime Minister Modi and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for approving the introduction of the Vande Bharat Express service between these two cities.
