Washington (USA): Three suspects wanted in connection with the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol were apprehended at a ranch in Groveland, Florida, on Saturday, as announced by the FBI’s Tampa field office. The individuals arrested were Jonathan Daniel Pollock, Olivia Michele Pollock, and Joseph Daniel Hutchinson III. Jonathan Daniel Pollock, considered armed and dangerous, had been sought since the Capitol attack, with a reward of up to $30,000 for information leading to his arrest.

The FBI executed federal arrest warrants at the Groveland ranch, bringing an end to the yearslong search for the fugitives. The suspects, including two others who were previously arrested in June 2021, faced charges related to the Capitol assault, such as assaulting law enforcement officers, theft of government property, and violent entry and disorderly conduct on Capitol grounds.

Jonathan Daniel Pollock, alleged to be the most violent among the defendants, was accused of stealing two Capitol Police riot shields during the attack. The fugitives, described as relatives or close friends living near each other in Florida, traveled together to D.C. on January 6, 2021, dressed in military-style tactical gear. Prosecutors noted their coordinated actions demonstrated prior planning.

While Hutchinson and Olivia Michele Pollock were initially arrested in June 2021, both had failed to appear for court proceedings in March 2023, leading to the issuance of warrants for their arrest. The three suspects are scheduled to appear in federal court in Ocala, Florida, on Monday.
