USA: Early Morning Blaze Guts Lakeview Building, Residents Displaced

A fire in Lakeview early Sunday morning displaced several residents, according to Chicago fire officials. Firefighters were dispatched to the scene in the 1400 block of West Fletcher Street shortly after 6 a.m. The blaze was brought under control by 7:30 a.m. Thankfully, there were no reported injuries, but the building sustained significant damage, leaving multiple people without homes. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
