Tragic Blaze Claims Six Lives in Hyderabad Chemical Godown Fire

Tragedy struck in Hyderabad, Telangana, as a massive fire tore through a chemical godown on the first floor of a four-storey building in Nampally, claiming the lives of six individuals. According to an official statement, three people also sustained injuries during the incident.

The unfortunate incident unfolded while repair work was being carried out on a car in the godown on the ground floor. Sparks from the repair work reached the stored chemical barrels, triggering the devastating fire. DCP Venkateshwar Rao of Central Zone, Hyderabad, explained that the flames quickly spread to other floors, resulting in the loss of six lives. It’s a somber reminder of the unpredictable nature of such events and the need for vigilance in safety measures.
