“This is How We Escaped Death”, Rashmika Mandanna Posts After Her Flight Makes Emergency Landing

Bangalore, Karnataka, India – February 18, 2024: A flight carrying actresses Rashmika Mandanna and Shraddha Das made an emergency landing due to a technical glitch on Saturday. The Air Vistara flight was en route from Mumbai to Hyderabad when the incident occurred.

Mandanna took to social media to share details of the incident, saying that the flight had to make an emergency landing due to “some technical issues.” She also shared a photo of herself and Das with their feet pressed against the back of the seat in front of them, as instructed by the flight crew during the emergency landing.

“This is how we escaped death today,” Mandanna wrote in the caption. “Thank you to the amazing crew of Air Vistara for keeping us safe.”

In a separate post, Das also shared her experience of the incident, saying that she was “grateful to be alive.”

“I’m still in shock,” she wrote. “But I’m so grateful to be alive. Thank you to the Air Vistara crew for your quick thinking and bravery.”

The incident comes just days after another Air Vistara flight made an emergency landing due to a technical glitch. That flight was en route from Delhi to Kathmandu when it had to make an emergency landing in Lucknow.

Air Vistara has issued a statement apologizing for the inconvenience caused to passengers on both flights. The airline said that it is investigating the incidents and will take appropriate action.
