These states will vote for Assembly with Lok Sabha
The Election Commission of India (ECI) has officially announced the dates for the highly anticipated 2024 Lok Sabha elections, along with Assembly elections in four states. These states include Andhra Pradesh (175 seats), Arunachal Pradesh (60 seats), Sikkim (32 seats), and Odisha (147 seats).
Marking a significant moment in the country’s democratic process, the results for all four state elections will be declared on June 4, coinciding with the announcement of the Lok Sabha poll results.
In a synchronized electoral schedule, polling in the Northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh and Sikkim is slated for April 19. Following suit, Andhra Pradesh will witness polling on May 13. Meanwhile, Odisha’s electoral process will unfold in four phases, spanning from May 13 to June 1.
The General Elections, set to unfold in seven phases, will commence on April 29, marking the beginning of a comprehensive electoral journey for the nation.
