Shooting Incident on Brooklyn Subway Under Police Investigation
NEW YORK – In a disturbing incident, police are actively investigating a shooting on a northbound C train near the Ralph Avenue subway station in Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The incident occurred just after 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, according to CBS News.
Sources reveal that a heated argument between a 17-year-old boy and another passenger escalated, leading the latter to allegedly draw a gun. The teenager was shot in the hand, and an innocent bystander in his 40s was shot in the ankle.
Emergency services swiftly responded, rushing both victims to local hospitals. Fortunately, both individuals are expected to survive and are currently receiving medical treatment for their injuries.
