Selena Gomez Reveals Thoughts on Benny Blanco Romance: ‘He Is My All and Everything in My Heart’

On Thursday (Dec. 7), rumors began to circulate the internet that Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco were dating. Gomez noticed the rumors and took to Instagram to respond to the social media reaction to the supposed coupling.

“He is the world to me,” she expressed on this post, before responding to other comments on the post. “I don’t get it. If you really care for me. This is my most contented state,” she told one commenter. “If not, feel free to say anything you want. But I’m not letting your words control my life. Never. I’m done. If you can’t take me when I’m happiest then don’t stay in [my] life.”

One person’s response was: “If you don’t want to experience the criticism, then don’t post photos of your significant other. It should remain special between the two of you. Don’t blame your supporters. They adore you.” Gomez replied by providing an update on her new relationship, saying that they had been keeping it to themselves for six months. “I’m not mad. We’ve been together for six months. I will always be a defender of my friends, family, and devotees until the end of my days.”

Gomez responded to the remarks by posting an image that looked to be of her and Blanco on Instagram Stories. In a different Story, she stated: “I would like to express my deep appreciation and fondness for all of you.”

In August of this year, Blanco and Gomez released “Single Soon,” which was a successful track, reaching the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100. The two artists also previously collaborated on Blanco’s “I Can’t Get Enough” with Tainy and J Balvin in 2019.

When asked about the gossip concerning her, the singer also answered the query of a fan who wanted to know when her third solo album was due to arrive. “When is sg3 coming sel?” the person had asked, and Gomez replied: “in 2 months.”
