Santosh Lad Slams Emotional Politics, Highlights Real Issues Neglected by Modi Government
Hubballi: Labor Minister Santosh Lad criticized the Narendra Modi government, asserting that they are not addressing real issues concerning the common man in the current election.
Instead, Lad claimed that the government is seeking votes based on the incomplete Ram temple, completed only 40 percent. While he expressed no opposition to the temple’s construction, Lad accused the government of using it for political gain.
He argued that the country has experienced an authoritarian government over the past decade, emphasizing that in the last 10 years, the Modi government failed to address pressing concerns such as soaring diesel and petrol prices and record-high inflation.
Lad criticized the government’s focus on emotional issues rather than tangible problems and clarified that he has no interest in national politics, stating that he does not intend to contest Lok Sabha elections.
