Bag Blast Injures Bed Sheet Vendors in Shivamogga

Shivamogga: An explosion occurred due to explosive materials kept inside a bag, which were kept to hunt pigs, resulting in injuries to several individuals in Shiralkoppa in Shikaripura taluk in Shivamogga district on Sunday.

Among the injured were bed sheet seller Anthony and other vendors, who sustained minor injuries. They received treatment at the Shiralakoppa government hospital. Umesh, who had been entrusted with the bag by Anthony, inadvertently triggered the explosion, resulting in the accident.

The bag, which contained explosives intended for hunting pigs, was the source of the explosion. A case has been filed at the Shiralakoppa police station in connection with the incident.
