Vijayapura: Member of Parliament, senior BJP leader Ramesh Jigajinagi, was admitted to KLE Hospital in Belagavi on the late night of March 2nd. He is currently receiving treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). This comes just a few days after his recent admission to Kumareshwar Hospital in Bagalkot, as he was traveling from Vijayapura to Bagalkot.

Jigajinagi, a five-time MP, was hospitalized in Bagalkot due to breathlessness. Doctors at Kumareshwar Hospital reported that his blood oxygen level was low, leading to an abnormal heart rate.

At KLE Hospital, where he is currently admitted, strict restrictions are in place, and no visitors are allowed to meet him. The specific health issues he is facing this time remain undisclosed.

Given his recent health challenges and advancing age, there is speculation that Jigajinagi may not secure a ticket to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha election from the Vijayapura (SC) reserve constituency.
