Bengaluru, HUBLI EXPRESS NEWS: Several parts of Karnataka is likely to continue to receive unexpected rainfall this summer. According to the Meteorological Department, light to moderate rain is likely to continue in various districts including Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, and Bengaluru until May 6. In parts of North Karnataka, such as Haveri, rain is expected to persist until May 4.
Between May 1 and 6, districts like Dakshina Kannada and Udupi are likely to see rain. Rainfall is also expected in Uttara Kannada on May 2, 3, and 5.
Inland northern districts such as Haveri, Bagalkote, Vijayapura, Dharwad, Gadag, Raichur, and Koppal may experience rain on May 1 and 3. On May 2, rainfall is predicted in Belagavi, Haveri, Dharwad, Gadag, and Koppal.
On May 4, districts including Yadgir, Bidar, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Gadag, Haveri, and Raichur are expected to receive rain.
In the southern interior regions — including Bengaluru, Chamarajanagar, Mandya, Chitradurga, Shivamogga, Chikkaballapur, Chikkamagaluru, Mandya, Kodagu, Hassan, Mysuru, and Ramanagara — light to moderate rainfall is likely to continue through May 6, the department has said.
