Priyanka Gandhi Vadra Hospitalized, Misses Nyay Yatra

Lucknow, February 16, 2024: Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra took to Twitter today to express her disappointment at missing the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra (BJNY) scheduled to reach Uttar Pradesh today due to an unexpected hospitalization.

In a heartfelt tweet, Gandhi wrote, “I was really looking forward to receiving the BJNY in UP today but unfortunately, have ended up admitted to hospital. I will be there as soon as I am better!”

This news comes as a surprise to many as the nationwide march led by her brother Rahul Gandhi, aimed at uniting the country against divisive forces.

Her tweet continued, “Meanwhile wishing all the yatris, my colleagues in UP who have worked hard towards making arrangements for the yatra and my sweet brother, all success as they reach Chandauli today.” She expressed her support for the ongoing march and wished well to its participants and organizers.

While the exact reason for Gandhi’s hospitalization remains unclear, the tweet has generated concerns among her supporters who have sent her messages of well wishes and a speedy recovery. The Congress party is yet to issue an official statement on her health condition or the duration of her stay at the hospital.
