Premium Travel: NWKRTC’s Pallakki Buses Connect Hubballi and Shirdi

Hubballi: The North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) introduced its latest offering, the luxury Pallakki bus service. The inauguration ceremony was attended by H. Ramanagoudar, Divisional Controller of Hubballi Rural Division, who announced that the first two buses will operate on the Hubballi-Shirdi route.

As part of a broader strategy to enhance the transportation system, NWKRTC has introduced new buses, including the AC Sleeper Utsav, Non-AC Sleeper, and Express models. In the initial phase, Hubballi Rural Division will receive two out of the four Palki buses allocated to the corporation, addressing the high passenger demand on the Hubballi-Shirdi route.

The schedule for the Hubballi to Shirdi route is as follows:

• Departure from Gokul Road Bus Station, Hubballi, at 8:00 PM.
• Departure from Dharwad New Bus Station at 9:00 PM.
• Departure from Belagavi Central Bus Station at 10:15 PM.
• Arrival at Shirdi the next morning at 8:45 AM, via Pune and Ahmednagar.

The return journey from Shirdi follows this schedule:

• Departure from Shirdi at 8:00 PM.
• Arrival in Belagavi at 5:15 AM.
• Arrival in Dharwad at 6:15 AM.
• Arrival in Hubballi at 7:15 AM.

The total travel fare, inclusive of the basic fare, accident relief fund fee, and toll fee, has been fixed at Rs. 1,280 from Hubballi to Shirdi, Rs. 1,230 from Dharwad to Shirdi, and Rs. 1,080 from Belagavi to Shirdi.

Advance Booking and Discounts: Passengers can conveniently book tickets in advance at major bus stations, franchise counters, or online through www.ksrtc.in or the KSRTC Mobile App. A 5% discount is applicable to the travel fare when four or more seats are booked on the same ticket. Moreover, a 10% discount is provided on the return travel fare for passengers purchasing a single ticket covering both the outward and return journeys.
