Hubballi, March 10: Union Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Mines, and Coal, Pralhad Joshi, has declined to comment on the rumored decision by the BJP high command to refrain from fielding Mysuru MP Pratap Simha again from the same constituency. Instead, there are indications that the party is considering fielding Mysuru royal scion Yaduveer .

Joshi stated that he would not respond to the speculation, emphasizing that the party generally provides tickets to candidates who have won elections twice or eight times.

Responding to former minister BC Patil’s demand for a ticket to contest the Lok Sabha election from the Haveri seat, Joshi mentioned that such decisions would be made by party leaders. He noted that both he and BS Yediyurappa were supposed to be in Delhi today, but the CEC meeting was postponed. Joshi added that the second list of BJP candidates would be released in the next two to three days.
