PM Modi to Inaugurate Extended Vande Bharat Express Service Between Mangaluru and Thiruvananthapuram
Mangaluru: Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to virtually inaugurate the extended service of the Vande Bharat Express train, connecting Mangaluru and Thiruvananthapuram, on March 12. Additionally, he will officially open the One Station One Product stall on the same day, as announced by Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel.
MP Kateel shared that, responding to his request, the train number 20632/20631, initially operating between Thiruvananthapuram and Kasargod, has now been extended to Mangaluru. The extended route will run between Thiruvananthapuram and Mangaluru Central.
Operating six days a week, excluding Wednesdays, the Vande Bharat Express departs from Mangalore Central (MAQ) at 6:15 AM, reaching Thiruvananthapuram at 3:05 PM. On its return journey, it leaves Thiruvananthapuram at 4:05 PM and arrives back in Mangalore Central at 12:40 AM. The extension of this high-speed train service is anticipated to enhance connectivity and convenience for passengers traveling between these two prominent South Indian cities.
