PM Modi Announces ‘Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana’ After Ayodhya Visit
New Delhi: After returning from Ayodhya following the Pran Pratishta of Lord Ram, Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a significant decision. He stated that he resolved to ensure that every Indian has their own solar rooftop system installed on their home’s roof.
“Upon returning from Ayodhya, I have made my first decision – our government will launch the ‘Pradhan Mantri Suryodaya Yojana.’ The aim is to install rooftop solar panels on 10 million homes. This initiative will not only reduce the electricity bills for the poor and middle class but will also contribute to making India self-sufficient in the field of energy,” he shared in a post on X.
