Karnataka Congress Party Welcomes New Working Presidents
Bengaluru: In a significant move, the All India Congress Committee (AICC) president, Mallikarjun Kharge, has given the green light to the proposal for appointing working presidents, chairman, co-chairman, and vice-chairman of the Campaign Committee of the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC).
The newly appointed working presidents include Vinay Kulkarni, MLA representing Dharwad Rural, Tanveer Sait, MLA from Mysore, GC Chandrashekhar, along with Manjunath Bhandary and Vasanth Kumar.
Moreover, former MLA Vinaykumar Sorake has been entrusted with the leadership of the Campaign Committee, while Dr. L Hanumanthaiah assumes the role of co-chairman. Rizwan Arshad has been appointed as the vice-chairman.
This decision marks a strategic restructuring within the Karnataka Congress Party, aimed at strengthening its organizational framework ahead of forthcoming political challenges.
