Karnataka CM Give Update on First List of Congress Candidates

Bidar: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah provided an update on the first list of Congress candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The CM mentioned that today (March 7), the CEC meeting of Congress would be held, during which discussions on probable candidates might take place. Following this meeting, the first list is expected to be released in 2 or 3 days.

Speaking to reporters in Bidar, the CM informed that the police are actively searching for the individual responsible for the blast at Rameshwaram Café in Bengaluru. “We have obtained clues, and the investigation is underway. Both CCB and NIA sleuths are diligently searching for the accused,” he stated.

Regarding Minister HC Mahadevappa’s statement advocating for a Dalit to become the CM of the state, the chief minister clarified that Mahadevappa merely supported the statement of Dr. BR Ambedkar.
