Jagadish Shettar Confirmed to Contest Belagavi Lok Sabha Seat, Says BS Yediyurappa

Bengaluru: Former Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa has confirmed that former Chief Minister Jagadish Shettar will receive the BJP ticket to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha election from Belagavi, and he himself will contest from that constituency.

Speaking to reporters, Yediyurappa mentioned that Shettar met him on Thursday. Initially, Shettar was not keen to contest from Belagavi, but after some persuasion, he was convinced and agreed to contest from there. Yediyurappa expressed confidence that Shettar would contest from Belagavi and win with a significant margin.
