Hubballi: Police Register FIR Against Management of Royal Ritz Hotel

The case has been filed under the Karnataka Police Act, 1963 (Sections 103 and 109) and the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023 (Section 292). According to the FIR, on September 21, the hotel staff allowed diners to consume food and drinks after midnight, played loud music after 11:45 PM, and permitted customers to dance, causing significant inconvenience to the neighboring residents.

Police Commissioner N. Shashi Kumar stated that a case has been registered regarding these violations. Following an investigation, the police reviewed the hotel’s DVR footage and confirmed the breaches. They have also requested the excise department’s Deputy Commissioner to take appropriate action against the hotel management for violating regulations.
