Hubballi Police Arrest 19 in Gambling Den Raid; Rowdies Attack Officers

Hubballi: The Hubballi-Dharwad Police arrested several rowdysheeters following a raid on two gambling dens, during which officers were attacked. The raids were conducted on Wednesday, October 30, targeting a den near Buddha Vihar and another in a house in Aralikatti Colony.

During the raid at the Aralikatti Oni residence, two of the suspects allegedly assaulted police officers, shoving them and damaging a handheld camera used to record the operation.

The police reported the arrest of all attackers involved in the incident. In total, 19 individuals were apprehended across both raids, including six known rowdysheeters. Additionally, authorities seized Rs 61,530 in cash and 12 mobile phones as evidence.
