The Hubballi-Dharwad Police Commissionerate has taken a firm step towards maintaining peace and order in the city by issuing a deportation order against a local rowdy. This move comes in response to a growing concern about individuals involved in illegal activities that disrupt public safety.

Irfan, a 37-year-old resident of KHB Colony, Navanagar, has become the target of this decisive action. With a history of criminal activity, Irfan was known for forming a gang, harassing the public, and disturbing peace through violence and intimidation. These acts included assault, threats, gambling, and a blatant disregard for the election code of conduct.

The Hubballi-Dharwad police had already registered multiple cases against Irfan and designated him as a rowdy at the APMC Navanagar Police Station. However, his behavior continued to pose a threat to the community. There were concerns that his criminal activities might escalate during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

To address this issue and ensure a safe environment for citizens, the police commissionerate has issued a deportation order for Irfan. He will be relocated to the Chitradurga Town Police Station limits in Chitradurga district for a period of 6 months. This decisive action sends a strong message to potential troublemakers and reinforces the police department’s commitment to maintaining peace and order in Hubballi-Dharwad.
