Hubballi: Lions English Medium School Introduces “No Bag Day” Initiative

Hubballi: Lions English Medium School in Vijay Nagar, Hubballi, has launched an innovative “No Bag Day” program for students in classes 1 to 4. Every Saturday, young learners can leave their heavy backpacks at home and embrace a more relaxed approach to education. The school proudly claims to be the first in Hubballi to implement this initiative, which commenced on June 5.

On “No Bag Day,” children engage in play-based learning activities, fostering a joyous and stress-free environment. This approach aims to make education more enjoyable and meaningful for the students. By removing the physical burden of carrying heavy bags, the school seeks to enhance the children’s mental and emotional well-being.

Students are encouraged to bring only a water bottle and their lunch on these special Saturdays. The school administration believes that freeing children from stress, even for just one day a week, will have a positive impact on their overall learning experience.
