Facing Dust Problem in Hubballi-Dharwad? Report Complaints, Breathe Easier

Hubballi: To reduce dust in the Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation limits, two misting machines with a capacity of 8,000 liters each are being operated under the National Clean Air Programme (NCAP). These machines cover over 60 kilometers of main roads daily, and they are being monitored by Executive Engineer Vijaykumar and Environmental Engineer Sridhar,  these machines are effective in controlling dust particles such as PM 10 and PM 2.5.

Citizens of Hubballi-Dharwad can report dust-related complaints to the HDMC Control Room. Additionally, two tractor-mounted sweeping machines have been introduced under NCAP on a trial basis to sweep and reduce dust on major and minor roads. These machines are functioning daily, according to Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Commissioner Dr. Eshwar Ullagaddi.
