Billionaire Elon Musk sparked controversy on Monday by suggesting that he could face imprisonment if US Vice President Kamala Harris defeats Donald Trump in the upcoming presidential election. Speaking during a two-hour interview with Tucker Carlson on X (formerly Twitter), Musk expressed concerns about his fate under a potential Harris administration. “If Trump loses, I’m f****d,” Musk quipped, questioning whether he would even get to see his children.

Musk’s interview followed his recent public endorsement of Donald Trump, where he appeared alongside the former president at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. Throughout the interview, Musk reiterated his support for Trump, declaring he was “all in” on the Republican candidate for the 2024 election.

Musk voiced his fears that a Harris-Biden victory could mark the end of fair elections in the U.S. “If Trump doesn’t win, this might be the last real election we have,” Musk warned. He further argued that the administration’s immigration policies could lead to significant demographic shifts, with millions of undocumented migrants being granted citizenship, thereby swaying future elections permanently in favor of the Democrats.

“My prediction is that if Democrats are in power for another four years, they will legalize so many undocumented immigrants that swing states will no longer exist,” Musk claimed, predicting that the U.S. could become a “one-party state” under prolonged Democratic control. He added that such a scenario would threaten the country’s democratic system, saying, “The people who claim Trump is a threat to democracy are, in fact, a bigger threat to democracy themselves.”

Musk pointed to the 1986 Immigration Reform and Control Act, which granted amnesty to millions of undocumented migrants, to support his argument. He cited California’s political shift to becoming a Democratic stronghold as an example of how demographic changes could influence future elections.

In a related development, Musk’s mother recently faced backlash after making comments suggesting potential voter fraud ahead of the 2024 election.
