Dingaleshwar Swamiji Claims His Nomination Withdrawal Not Due to Pressure

Hubballi: Fakira Dingaleshwar Swamiji has confirmed that he withdrew his nomination as an independent candidate from the Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency. He stated that he withdrew his nomination because his Guruji advised him not to contest the election.

He clarified that his decision wasn’t influenced by political pressure. Both the BJP and Congress had attempted to persuade him, but he emphasized that his withdrawal was solely based on his Guruji’s guidance. Currently, he has yet to determine whom to support, mentioning that he would consult his supporters before making a decision.

While both parties approached him seeking his support, he asserted that he would take a couple of days to decide. He also criticized BJP’s MLA Basangouda Patil Yatnal for leveling allegations against him. He said he is not backing out from the fray after getting money, he challenged to prove this, he said ” If anyone claim that he or she has given money to contest election or withdraw from the fray, let they come forward,” he said.

He said his fight which he termed it is as ” Dharma Yuddha” will be continued in the coming days, except contesting election.
