Congress Leaders’ Banners Torn in Hubballi

Hubballi: With the arrest of Hindu activist Srikanth Poojari, tensions have escalated between the BJP and Congress, turning the issue into a politically sensitive matter. Simultaneously, there are reports of miscreants allegedly tearing banners of Congress leaders, including CM Siddaramaiah and DCM DK Shivakumar, which were installed at the Congress office on Karwar Road.

City District Congress President Altaf Halwoor stated that the incident occurred on Wednesday when Leader of the Opposition and BJP MLA R Ashoka visited Ashok Poojari’s house in Chennapet.

He further mentioned that a complaint has been lodged, but as of now, no FIR has been registered in connection with this case.
