Pralhad Joshi Upset Over Lokayukta ADGP’s Alleged Use of ‘Pig’ Term Regarding HDK
– Issued a warning to apologize; caution that action will be taken through cadre control if not complied with
– Look at the kind of officials the Congress government is nurturing!
Hubballi: Central Minister Pralhad Joshi warned that action will be taken against Lokayukta ADGP M. Chandrashekar for using the derogatory term “pig” against Kumaraswamy.
Speaking to reporters in Hubballi today, he suggested that the Lokayukta ADGP should immediately apologize if he has any knowledge of the service conduct rules.
It is unacceptable to use such vulgar language against any public representative, especially a central minister, for any reason. The cadre control will take this seriously, he stated.
Kumaraswamy is not someone who uses such vulgar language about anyone. Joshi clarified that Kumaraswamy did not speak against the officer in singular words.
ADGP Must Face Consequences: Joshi warned that the officer’s derogatory remarks towards Kumaraswamy reflect extreme arrogance, and there will be consequences for this in the coming days.
If there is a government order, let there be an inquiry. If HDK has made an accusation, he should provide clarification in a respectful and dignified manner. Speaking in such a derogatory manner does not befit any officer, said Minister Joshi.
A Blot on the Government’s Administration: The use of derogatory language by the Lokayukta ADGP against a public representative is a blemish on the administration of the state Congress government. This will become a hindrance for Congress. Look at the kind of officials Congress is nurturing! he remarked.
This Government Will Not Last; A Warning: Joshi cautioned that this government will not last indefinitely in the state. He advised Lokayukta ADGP Chandrashekar to speak and act with caution.
