In preparation for the 2024 elections, the BJP in Uttar Pradesh is mobilizing a massive ground-level force of two crore ‘NaMo volunteers’ to focus on both current beneficiaries and potential new voters.

The party plans to leverage Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s NaMo App to enlist these volunteers, who will serve as ‘Viksit Bharat ambassadors.’

State BJP chief Bhupendra Chaudhary expressed confidence in surpassing this target and highlighted the use of Viksit Bharat Yatras and mobile video vans to promote the BJP’s outreach and showcase the country’s growth over the last 9.5 years. The cadres are instructed to download the NaMo App on their smartphones and encourage others to do the same, while various activities and campaigns, such as the 100-day challenge and microdonation campaign, are set to strengthen voter connectivity.

District-level workshops and engaging campaigns, like selfies with first-time voters and farmers, will unfold between December 15 and 17.
