The cab driver who transported Suchana Seth, the Bengaluru CEO accused of killing her four-year-old son, has shared a chilling account of the 12-hour journey during which he unknowingly carried the child’s body packed in a bag.

In an exclusive interview to India Today, Rayjohn D’Souza, the driver, recounted the suspicious behavior of Suchana Seth from the outset, revealing that he had questioned the unusual heaviness of her bag.

On January 7, D’Souza received a call from the ‘Sol Banyan Grande’ service apartment in North Goa, instructing him to urgently transport a woman, identified as Suchana Seth, to Bengaluru. Two drivers, including D’Souza, promptly arrived at the apartment at 12:30 am. Suchana boarded the cab at 1 am, and D’Souza noticed the considerable weight of her black-colored bag.

During the journey, D’Souza inquired about the bag’s weight, suspecting liquor bottles inside. Suchana confirmed the presence of liquor bottles, but D’Souza remained unaware of the disturbing truth.

Despite the lengthy journey, Suchana Seth remained quiet, showing no signs of impatience or panic, even during a four-hour delay caused by a roadblock at the Goa-Karnataka border. D’Souza offered to redirect to the airport due to the traffic jam, but she declined, exhibiting an unusual calmness.

Concerns heightened when D’Souza received a call from Goa Police after crossing the Karnataka border. Authorities informed him of bloodstains found in Seth’s room, suspecting she had a child with her who was not present when she left. Another call revealed that the address and details provided by Seth were fake, confirming D’Souza’s suspicions.

The police instructed D’Souza to stop at the nearest police station, but fearing alerting Seth, he first sought directions without taking a U-turn. Eventually reaching a police station, he handed over the car for inspection. It was during this search that the police discovered the lifeless body of Suchana Seth’s child inside the bag.

Throughout the journey and subsequent discovery, Seth remained unusually calm, neither making nor receiving calls except for one, presumably from the service apartment. Even when confronted by the police at the station, she remained composed.
