Director Rohit Shetty finally confirmed the long-rumored casting of Arjun Kapoor as the villain in his upcoming film, Singham Again (also known as Singham 3). This marks a major character shift for Kapoor, who will be trading his usual hero roles for a menacing turn as the antagonist opposite Ajay Devgn’s iconic cop, Singham.
Shetty took to Instagram to unveil the news with two captivating photos. One depicts Kapoor sporting a bloodied, villainous grin, hinting at the character’s intensity. The other showcases him alongside Ranveer Singh, reprising his Simmba role, setting the stage for a clash of the titans.
“Insaan galati karta hai, aur usse uski saza bhi milti hai… Lekin ab jo aayega, wo shaitaan hai!” (Man makes mistakes, and he pays for them… But the one who’s coming now, he’s the devil!),” Shetty wrote dramatically, introducing Kapoor’s character.
