Former Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has announced that the names of candidates for the remaining constituencies in Karnataka will be unveiled on March 22. This decision comes following discussions with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where a final consensus on the list is expected.

“We have deliberated over the candidates for the five constituencies with Amit Shah and JP Nadda. There is absolute clarity regarding the selection process for these constituencies. Our campaign across the state will kick off soon after the release of the third list,” stated Yediyurappa.

Emphasizing the importance of securing victory in the upcoming elections, Yediyurappa highlighted the significance of cooperation from J.C. Madhuswamy. “I’ve reached out to Kardi Sanganna, a loyal leader whose commitment is invaluable. He’s urged not to make any rash decisions and will be assured of a suitable position in the future. We aim to garner support from all quarters for a transformative change under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi and Amit Shah,” he added during a press conference in Delhi.

Regarding the opposition, Yediyurappa criticized the Congress, asserting their inability to field suitable candidates. “The BJP is actively engaging with rebel leaders due to the dearth of credible candidates within the Congress ranks. The absence of a capable contender for the Prime Minister’s post within their party reflects their predicament,” he remarked.

Expressing optimism about the BJP-JD(S) alliance, Yediyurappa deemed it advantageous for Karnataka. “We envisage the potential to secure victory in all 28 Lok Sabha seats within the state. Continuous coordination among key figures like Amit Shah, Modi, and HD Deve Gowda underscores the strength of this alliance,” he affirmed.

Responding to allegations made by K.S. Eshwarappa, Yediyurappa refrained from engaging, emphasizing that all concerned leaders have already communicated with Eshwarappa. “I’ve advised him against hasty decisions, as these accusations stem from personal grievances, particularly regarding his son’s seat allocation. It’s imperative to understand that decisions are made collectively by the election committee, not unilaterally by me. I anticipate his understanding in the coming days,” Yediyurappa stated.
