Alabama High School Football Player Dies Following Game Injury
A community in Alabama is grieving the loss of Caden Tellier, a 16-year-old high school quarterback who died after suffering a brain injury during John T. Morgan Academy’s season opener against Southern Academy.
Tellier was hospitalized in critical condition after the injury on Friday night, and his death was announced the following day. Known for his kindness and generosity, Tellier’s parents shared that he was an organ donor, saying, “Lives will be saved through his passing.” The school’s headmaster, Bryan Oliver, described Tellier as a “shining light” and a devoted Christ follower.
In mourning, the school has suspended all activities for the week. A memorial service will be scheduled
